Lupus foundation of America is a cause that is near and dear to Patient Protocol because Charlotta Norgaard, CEO, lives with the disease. We help raise funds for the Lupus Foundation of America every year. Join us for the annual walk in New York City and to make a donation under team “Clinical Research Team”.

Charlotta Norgaard, Founder of Patient Protocol, gave a presentation at the very first Quantified Self Women (QSXX) in New York City on November 12, 2013, focusing on Mymee technology use in mobile app based tracking for the chronic ill. She discussed what a great impact the app has had on her own life and why looking at our data is key to understanding what is going on in our lives and health.

Patient Protocol supports active events and participated in "Join the Voices!" 5-mile run in Central Park, New York, in support of Voices Against Brain Cancer (VABC). More than 4,000 runners completed the run, and hundreds of walkers carrying signs and wearing matching team shirts joined together in solidarity to support the fight against brain cancer.
Patient Protocol supports the annual Lupus Foundation of America walk. The cause brings awareness to Lupus (SLE) and raises money for continued research. This is an event Patient Protocol supports every year. This year a total of 6740 donors helped 3286 fundraisers to raise $447,045.64 for Lupus Foundation of America.
Charlotta Norgaard and the Patient Protocol team managed to collect 200% of the donation goal set forth. We had a nice group of people walking for a good cause and had a beautiful, sunny day at South Street Seaport, New York City in May 2013.
This was the first year Patient Protocol supported the Lupus Walk in New York City. We were able to contribute financially as well as have a small team of walkers on the day of the event in Battery Park, NYC.
