Business Development Territory Manager

Patient Protocol is currently looking for key sales managers, who will drive new business development opportunities across The Americas or Europe.

The Business Development Territory Manager will work independent to improve Patient Protocol’s market position and achieve financial growth. This person builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Job Functions (not limited to):
  • Identify new business opportunities, foster win-win relationships, present value propositions, and secure new customers in the medical industry
  • Use existing or develop new, professional relationships with ACOs, MCOs, hospitals, physicians, payers, research organizations, academia, and/or pharma
  • Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Serve as liaison between Patient Protocol and its customers
  • Plan client approaches and pitches
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working with the clients to create a positive conclusion
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately

 

The selected candidate will coordinate all business development while adhering to Patient Protocol’s core values.  The Business Development Territory Manager will work closely with clinical operations, project managers, and senior leadership on developing strategic growth and customer service strategies.

Requirements:
  • Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Science/Healthcare, Technology or other related discipline
  • Strong business development background
  • 2+ years in the medical industry
  • Prior experience in consulting, hospital or pharmaceuticals sales, clinical trials, disease management programs and/or mHealth preferred
  • Keen understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Established relationships within one or more areas of Patient Protocol’s targeted clientele
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Always maintain high ethics and emphasize the patient in all matters
  • Adhere to Patient Protocol’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Superior written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to comfortably discuss lessons learned and suggest improvements with senior management

Investigator / Clinical Designer

We are seeking a Global Trial Optimization Specialist - a Program Manager with significant experience in clinical trial design and research. A strong leader with a keen set of knowledge in clinical trials, who easily could review trial designs and point out shortcomings and opportunities. A critical thinker and innovator who has knowledge or an interest in mHealth and new ways of collecting data in a clinical setting. You must be familiar with the Quantified Self community and understand how important the patient is in making a new product or program successful.

We are looking for a person with a strong clinical mindset and dedication to lead programs to success. You must posses the ability to interpret complex data, find the one thing that will make a difference, and present program updates and assessments to clients. You should have designed or run at least 10 clinical trials and/or patient programs.

This is the chance for a self-motivated individual with high energy and attention to details to be bold and think outside the box to make significant impact on clinical trials and patient programs in all areas of medicine.

Requirements:
  • MD or Ph.D. in clinical research, outcomes research, clinical epidemiology, clinical informatics, health economics, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA, HIPAA, EMEA, NHS, and similar entities across the globe.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Keen time manager with attention to details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak foreign languages a plus
